‘Poyekhali!’- Russian for ‘Let’s Go’, were the first words to ignite a new era of exploration with Yuri Gagarian becoming the first human to venture into space on April 12 1961. Each year, Yuri’s Night is celebrated to commemorate the inauguration of space flight including the launch of the first Space Shuttle on April 12 1981. Join RAeS, AWPA, AIAA for a casual self-funded dinner at the Mail Exchange Hotel on Tues 9 April at 6:00pm as we reflect on the past and future of space innovation.
